old school lettering - SCANNED BOOKS

http://beinecke.library.yale.edu/dl_crosscollex/brbldl/oneITEM.asp?pid=1002843&iid=1244787&srchtype=ITEM
there are about 60 pages to view at this site. many of them are very contemporary looking, considering this book is from the 16th century. take time to go to the link -the one above the photo- and view the pages. it is labeled a *scribal pattern book* so it must have been a collection of ideas and patterns kept by a scribe. the old school version of a blog.

and then, you can go to the page with a listing of 80-90 books that are scanned so that you can spend more hours looking at and collecting images. if you find something worth saving, right click, copy and paste into a word doc and print it out.
